Imagined as a place where the family gets together, this custom single-family residence presents a volumetric, sleek architecture dressed in a wood skin. Cube House is a private residence designed by Yakusha Design. This impressively designed modern living space, a family home project was wrapped up only a few months ago, in the early Fall of 2015.

A spacious great room where family members come together reigns in the floor plan. This large central space was designed so that the owner’s extended family could gather to cook, read, hang out, eat and enjoy each other’s company. The modern house is already a home for a five member family. It is located in Bucha, Kiev Oblast, Ukraine. The architect has done a splendid job preserving the surround great outdoor greenery, at the same time connecting the outside and inside with massive carefully positioned windows. The house has   360 sqm, divided in two floors, garage on two cars; living-room, dining room, 1 bed-room, 2 child’s room, 2 bathrooms. According to the architects, the proposed new materials include gray and white exposed concrete and wood with a walnut finish. The home’s color palette is “composed of neutral tones like warm light gray and oyster white, in order to give prominence to the the furniture,” the architects said.
